Textfree Lite

-- Description: Free, Messaging, Native, Utilities --

As you now know, Infinite SMS has been pulled from the App Store as Google would not allow it to use its own text platform.  That is understandable, but very unfortunate as it was an excellent texting tool.  However, I have found and now use Textfree Lite instead. The daily limit of 15 texts is fine with me, and may increase over time as newer versions arise.  If you are not in the App and someone sends you a text, you wil receive a notification by e-mail.  This works almost the same and does a fine job. Texting with both Send and Receive is now back on track!

"Textfree Lite lets you send texts for free to US mobile numbers. iPod Touch users also may use Textfree providing you are using WiFi.  Just turn Notifications ON in Options to be notified of new texts by e-mail if you have exited the program. Also, turn on the Textfree to Textfree feature in Options so that texts come to the App and not the native SMS App."

--Tip:  Textfree Lite only provides 15 messages per day and is ad supported.  If you want unlimited daily messaging, you will need to get the full version, Textfree, from the App Store.  Also there are no ads on Textfree.
