Timestamp It!

Looking at a photo album brings back memories of happy times spent with family and friends. You can piece the memories together in your mind by the visuals such as scenery, clothing and people. However, what makes the occasion easy to remember is the date and time stamp.  Timestamp It! takes care of this problem by allowing you to use the iPhone camera with the timestamp on, or to add the date if you know it, to old pictures you have previously taken. I have actually gone through many of my old iPhone pictures and inserted the date using Timestamp It! I used a date of when I thought the picture was taken because Timestamp It! allows you to change the date to a custom date and also add a caption if you choose! Basically all you do is take a picture, and the date and/or time will be stamped on the bottom left of the image. If you find the print is getting lost in the background of the photo, simply change the font color. Then you save your picture. It will save as a new image and not re-write the old one you had. This is one app you will have to have in your photography kit as it serves a very useful purpose.

"How often have you looked at a photo in your photo album and looked at the date and started remembering the time when you took that picture? Or how about old pictures of yourself, and you knew exactly how old you were because the picture develops with the date and time of when it was taken? The problem is there is now no way to find out when a picture was taken with the standard iPhone camera."

Tech Word of The Day:
T1 - A leased line connection capable of carrying data at a very high speed (as in 1,544,000 bps or 1.544 Mbps). At maximum theoretical capacity, a T1 line could move a megabyte in less than 10 seconds but that is still not enough bandwidth for full-screen, full-motion video (for which you need at least 10,000,000 bps). T1 is the fastest telephone trunk line commonly used to connect networks to the Internet. ADSL and HDSL technologies are implemented on T1 transmission links.
