Games are always fun to fill in unexpected spare time when I have to wait around at various offices, school lines or activities. However, word games in particular have always been a favorite of mine. In any event, Woffo is an intriguing new word game that allows you to build words both horizontally and vertically at the same time. With 64 allotted tiles, you are bound to find some 3, 4 or 5-letter words that easily come to mind. What I like about this game though is that I am not timed. I think best when I am NOT under pressure! Some of the key features of Woffo game play include:

- Horizontal and vertical word creation
- 8 wild cards to help you out in a jam
- Double scoring on Palindromes
- Woffos and Super Woffos score awesome bonus points
- Drag and drop letters for easy play
- Trash Can for unwanted letters
- Golden Square bonus
- Play your own music from your library
- Upload to Facebook and Twitter

When you open Woffo, a grid of 18 empty boxes for letter tiles is displayed, along with useful Help and Menu buttons. If you tap the Help button, you will get explicit instructions on how to enjoy this game. When you tap Menu, you will get choices which includes important Options. This is where you go to select your Difficulty Level, Sound Effects On/Off, Select Music button among other choices. The object of this iPhone game is to use your 64 tiles to create as many words as possible. To play, simply tap any tile and a letter will appear. Keep tapping tiles to make words. If letters appear that do not make sensible words, tap that tile again until a "real" word is formed. When you form words in a row, the tiles of that word turn blue, while the tiles of words in a column turn red. Tap the Trash Can icon under the grid to discard letters you don't want. But that's not all! There are several challenging ways to get bonus points too. You can earn these by completing configurations such as The Golden Square (200 points), Woffos (100 points) and Super Woffos (1,000 amazing points)! My favorite challenge in Woffo though is the Golden Square which you form with two intersecting words. Regular scoring depends on word length, difficulty and tile value while Palindromes give you double the word score! There are just so many cool ways you can really rack up your points! When I played the game, all letter tiles functioned smoothly in the way they were intended. I enjoyed the uncluttered game board helping me focus on forming words. Woffo is a totally unique and fun iPhone app that challenges your brain while giving you a whole lot of relaxation all at the same time.

"Woffo is the word puzzle game that will have you building words in so many directions, you'll think you're cross-eyed! There's no clock to rush you. Good thing, because each letter you get can be placed in many strategic squares."
