There are many cute and humorous quote apps available. But what about the Bible, for the ultimate in calming and loving verses? I was pleased to find Holy Roller which takes Bible verses (from many Bible translations), separates them into life subjects, and allows you to browse your particular needs. The verses are divided into two main Tabs labeled Blessings and Burdens. Blessings for when you are thankful for the good things in life, and Burdens for when you are troubled by the many stresses in life. If you are reading through scriptures on behalf of encouraging a friend, you are able to then send that verse to Twitter, Facebook or by e-mail. Some of the soothing and enlightening features of Holy Roller are as follows:
• Multiple languages available (English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Chinese)
• Choose from 8 different translations of the Bible (New Revised Standard, New King James, American Standard, King James, Chinese Union Version (Simplified), Louis Segond, La Nuova Diodati, and Reina-Valera Antingua.)
• “Spread the Word” feature to email your favorite verses to friends
• Update your Twitter with the chapter and verse numbers that have guided you
