Developer Snapshot: "Text Interpreter translates your Text messages into any language using your iPhone, iTouch or iPad."

Are you planning an overseas jaunt somewhere between high-school and college? Or, perhaps you want to travel after receiving your graduate degree as a well-deserved reward before settling down to an excellent job? That all sounds like a great idea, if you're feeling ready to brave the cultural and language differences. In any event, Text Interpreter is the number one tool you should have ready to go with you, not in your suitcase, but positioned nicely on the home page of your iPhone or iPad. Text Interpreter has an uncanny way of correctly translating the important things you need to say instantly, and sending them off in a text within seconds. So exactly how can Text Interpreter simplify your traveling, business negotiations and more? Let's take a look at the following, simple instructions on how to send off a text to your recipient in over 57 countries:

1. Select the destination country of the recipient.

2. Enter the recipient's phone number. No country prefix necessary. You can even select the number from your Contacts list.

3. Next, write the message in your native language. There are no restrictions on text length, but many phones cannot carry more than 160 characters, or they may attempt to break the message into shorter packets.

4. Then, select the language to which you want the message to be converted.

5. Finally, hit the translate button to get the text converted, and off goes your message as easy as pie.

The app opens immediately to the Texting page where you will conduct all the actions listed above. This simplifies your task enormously as it avoids having to flick around through pages. One super important fact to me is that you can text your message with no overseas charges from your phone carrier. In explanation of how this works, when I sent a message to myself, it arrived as a text from msg@textinterpreter.com. The SMS text went via the Text Interpreter server through e-mail to MMS services. A real time saver is that you are able to swap languages simply by clicking the <> exchange button. Additionally, I found the translations to be very accurate converting the four languages I speak. That was a relief because I'd hate to make a monumental mistake in an important business negotiation! You should be confident that your translated message is exactly what you intended. Text Interpreter is an extremely valuable utility in many walks of life whether you are a student, business professional or simply want to keep up with friends in other countries. Let Text Interpreter "talk" fluently for you when you must speak like a native of another language.
