Developer Snapshot: "Ringtone Designer makes it easy to create custom ringtones using music in your iPhone's iPod library."

So you like different ringtones for each friend and family member! That way, you can be alerted as to who exactly is calling even if you're not looking at your phone. Now that's a smart idea, and real handy in the dark if your phone is ringing. Ringtone Designer Pro simplifies creating personalized ringtones on your phone.

There are many ways to go about making ringtones, but in my opinion, the simpler the better. Just select a song, and then a short clip from that song to make your ringtone. Sync up your iPhone so that the Ringtone app and clips you selected will show on iTunes and be placed in your Ringtones folder. On iPhone 4, this app worked beautifully, and the quality of the clips were great! Have fun giving all your contacts their own unique ringtones with Ringtone Designer Pro!

--OS and Age Rating:  This app requires iOS 4.0 or later. Rated 4+.
--Tip/Tutorials: Ringtone Designer Free is also available on the App store. Also, iPhone 3G users are experiencing problems creating ringtones from some songs. A fix will soon be issued.

Fun Stuff - Word of The Day: architect - A tarnished use of a noun in the "computer architecture" world. "Give us the guidelines and expectations you have for your system and we'll architect it for you." Perhaps a more common or logical alternative to this term would be "design".
