How in the world can you keep them all straight, much less accomplish them satisfactorily without losing your mind? You might jot your notes on paper or stick them on the fridge, but sometimes neither the fridge nor the notes are readily available for you to check! Take a deep breath and try Reminders! This useful task and scheduling app is made just for you with its simplicity and ease-of-use, not to mention reliability that eases you through one task at a time. Reminders! allows you to quickly and easily note tasks that require your future attention. It works like a charm to get you humming like a top through your day. You might wonder just how Reminders! todos, task app can simplify your life? When you open the app, you will notice four buttons at the bottom of your screen: Daily, Actions, People and History, while there is an Edit and '+' (Add) button at the top of your display. The Daily button shows you all tasks in entirety. The Actions button shows you the kinds of chores to be done while People gives you an alphabetic list of those to contact. History, of course, displays the status of all your chores that were performed. Tap Edit on top of your display to add more time needed to chores to be completed (add by hour, day or week), or simply delete that item.
Tap the '+' button to get started inputting your tasks. A screen will pop up requiring you to enter your Action. Swipe to select from among Call, Meet, Email (native app on entering contact), ToDo, Check (a webpage on entering URL), Buy, Pickup or Delivery. Once that item is selected, tap on the What field and enter your information. Below that write your destination in Where and at what Time, then go ahead and enter any specific Notes. Save your task and you are now able to remove one chore from your mind because Reminders! will send you a notification to remind you of it. Your note will now be highlighted in red on the main screen of your app. Remember, Reminders! will continue working for you even when you are not currently in the app.
Yesterday, I had set myself a task to call an Uncle today at 8:00 AM. Needless to say, I awoke way past that time, and there was a Reminder on my Screen that I was Late in performing this task. I simply tapped Later on the task, and would tap Done when I had taken care of this call.
There are several Todo type apps available, but I find Reminders! to be simple to navigate and easy to use. I did not have to find my way through several menus, nor read an instruction manual on how to use it. One thing I would like to see in the future though are sounds to add to my push notifications for future events so that I am more easily alerted, and perhaps a way to be alerted anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 day ahead of that particular schedule. Fortunately, Reminders! will be adding in an upcoming update 20 custom sound notifications, Recurrence, More Actions, and a few more features to enhance this already top-notch app. Let Reminders! be your personal assistant to nudge you gently in organizing your life with the greatest of ease.
