Are you starting to get in the holiday spirit yet? Between the seasonal songs in stores, the yummy goodies in the supermarkets and year-end quickly approaching, I find myself getting in high-gear holiday spirit. At this time of year, I enjoy selecting animated or still cards to send friends, and watching Christmas movies or videos. Super Dance Elf Christmas with Friends can be enjoyed as both a card and video, and is going to send you into fits of laughter with its wildly dancing elves, starring YOU! Select from among 4 elf characters the one you would like to create, insert a photo of anyone at all (including your beloved pet), and then sit back and enjoy the dance show! You can use an existing photo or snap one on the spur of the moment. After you've enjoyed this hilarious animated show, send your little video clip to your friends who have an iDevice, in an e-mail with a link to obtain this app to view your dance cartoon!
To start enjoying this colorful and amusing holiday app, simply start off by tapping the Create Dancer button if you are ready to try your first creation. (If you have already created an adorable elf, you could either Watch Dancer or Send Dancer). You will then be given a choice of 4 elves, one of which you will select to be your head. You can choose to use as your elf's head template either Elf Classic, Elf New, Miss Merry Christmas or Reggae Reindeer. That being said, the background music for your video clip is different for each elf. Tap Select a Photo and then decide if you'd like to Take a Picture or Choose from your Photo Library. Your picture is automatically inserted into the elf's head, and you can name your new dancing figure. At that point, tap your new elf to watch him or her dance in the snow!
When you are ready to share the fun, simply go back to your main screen and tap Send Dancer. You will then be shown all of the elves which you have created. Select one and your native e-mail app will automatically open with a pre-inserted note that if the recipient gets Super Dance Elf Christmas, he or she will be able to view the dancing elf. Underneath that is a teaser photo of the elf you have created and and are sending. Just seeing the cute, holiday elf head figure in the photo will be enough to make your friend laugh, get the app, and let the frolicking begin!
My biggest wish would be that the dancing elves would be viewable on the computer, perhaps by a link to a website. It would also be cool to have two figures dancing together. Still, nothing has had me laughing so hard recently as the sight of my dog and myself dancing in true JibJab style (though not at all related). I actually made elves of all my family members knowing that they'd get a good laugh out of the caricatures, and in turn show it to their friends on their own devices. You could really spread a lot of goodwill in this way. Get in the Christmas spirit with the lively holiday music and colors that will have you smiling in no time.
