This app is presented in animation. Many of the moving objects including Santa himself appear as though they are brightly painted wood figures reminiscent of old-fashioned, chunky wooden puzzles. The graphics are brilliant, cheery and all characters have happy smiles on their faces. The 3D effect is mesmerizing and definitely has a eye-opening effect on the reader! I particularly got a laugh out of Santa's bag of goodies called "Pressies" (short for presents), as I have often used the same word myself!
Children may choose to read the book by themselves, or have it read to them. Little ones will love being able to turn the pages at their own pace so they can enjoy the high-res color and animations in their entirety. When they are ready to move on, it only takes one tap of either arrow at the bottom of the page to move forward or backward.
