The world was aghast at the oil disaster last year when oil went pumping unchecked into the seas from a blown tank. It put on hold many ocean industries and ruined much sea life, thus becoming a nationwide catastrophe. Running along those lines is Boom Boat in which a new oil crisis has crippled the world economy. Oil gushers are appearing on ocean floors around the globe. Equipped with bombs, barrels, concrete and more it is imperative that those gushers are destroyed by any means necessary. What part can you take in this dreadful scenario? You must seal the gushers, stop the bad guys and save the world. Thankfully, it is all much simpler in this game than it was in the real catastrophe last year! Some of the neat features of Boom Boat are as follows:
- Tilt controls for movement
- Physics based puzzle gameplay where you blow stuff up, knock objects over and use gravity to your advantage.
- 30 levels with three challenge objectives per level. Can you get all 90 stars?
- Game Center support: 26 Achievements and a leaderboard keeping track of how much destruction has occurred.
There are lots of explosions and underwater things going on in this action and adventure app. Make full use of the accelerometer and physics to get damage control underway. Once you start "saving the seas", you just can't stop!
