Are you ready to take on a new, colorful, psychedelic game that's loaded with twists, turns and loops? You may have found your perfect mix of all the above with Lava Loops Lite! This Lite version of the game is a great way to sample the delights of the full app that has more features such as 3 game modes with loops to test your patience and your skills. Who would have thought you could spend so much enjoyable time making loops, or that this would be such an incredibly addictive puzzle game? Now you can discover the game with the first 15 challenges from the full version.
Notice the lavendar/purple color to the tubes? It's just like the stuff in the retro lava lamps of yesteryear, one of which I still have in my room! A very clever 3D renderinging of glass tubes is used here. Anyway, once you have completed the challenges in Lava Loops Lite you will be ready to experience the additional game modes and puzzle offered in Lava Loops. The full version has 3 unique modes:
- Challenge: (sampled in this Lite version) - Test your mind and reflexes with timed tasks. Some are easy and some are hard.
- Time Attack!: Make loops for survival - The longer and more intricate the loop, the more time you will receive. But if you run out of time, the game is over.
- Endless: For those relaxing times when you just want to make loops. There's no end, there's no time limit, just loads of pieces and thousands of loops!
One of the cool features of this iPad puzzle game is that if you play either the Time Attack! or Endless mode long enough, you'll notice T and + pieces appearing. Large bonuses and wacky pathways are available at this point. I started off with Challenge mode as this is what is offered in the Lite Version, but I look forward to purchasing the full version so I can have a more relaxing time with Endless! So far, I have had a hard time putting down the game and have become far too mesmerized by the graphics and puzzles.
