Browsing through your mobile device can be a pleasant experience versus a slow, mentally painful and unwieldy one. It's a good idea to try a couple different browsers to see what may be best for your tastes, depending on the different features of each. As products become more expensive and paychecks shrink, it's necessary to make wise purchases. You don't want to buy an item that's going to fall apart in a couple months, or an item that's not helpful to you at all. Savvy consumers want to research a product thoroughly before purchasing it. This due diligence ensures satisfaction once you get that product home.

This is where ClickPic becomes a super helpful shopping and social networking tool. ClickPic provides you with the information you seek right away, but with ease and convenience while sitting in your armchair. No need to run from store to store verifying prices and item features. All you need to do to obtain opinions on the item that interests you is tap the camera icon, take a photo of the product (which will then be uploaded to the ClickPic community), and then join the conversation centered around this or similar items! You can even add in your own opinions and comments to the item you snapped!

If you are wondering how you can put ClickPic to use, here are some ideas of items you can identify and research with this social networking, product review iPhone app:

You will have to spend a minute to register when you first open the app. This is to enable you and others who use ClickPic to be a part of this research Community regarding your reviews and opinions. (I noticed that people had commented on many food products under the Popular Notes tab). If you are familiar with some items, you can also then tap Like or Dislike for each at this point. I tried tapping a Samsung Remote control to see how people rated this. The main problem here was that many comments were in Portuguese, although I expect there will soon be a scattering of languages as worldwide items are added in. Other opinions were written in English, however.

This is an innovative app that makes it simple to gather votes on consumables before spending money on them. Use ClickPic for marketing purposes to see what's popular in the area if you are a sales person and need statistics. Kids can put names to pictures enabling a bit of learning fun. The main benefit of ClickPic, however, is to socially interact with others like yourself who have a natural curiosity to seek out the best products before buying.

LogMeIn Ignition

LogMeIn software has been around for quite a while. Its origins began with remotely accessing information from one computer to another. For example, needing files from your work computer while at home. This certainly has saved many an employee's job when assignment deadlines were imperative. Alternately, it has been a source of personal use when wanting to access your home computer from work perhaps during your lunch hour break. Now you can use LogMeIn Ignition from your iPhone or iPad while on the road, or even from another room in your home to access data from your Mac or PC. Using WiFi or 3G both work well with this app.

There are many different functions you can perform with LogMeIn software installed on your computer. However, these functions vary greatly on what type of account you have installed. This company offers Free and Pro accounts. If you purchase this app while it is on sale at $14.99, you must install either of the above options on your computer. I find the Pro account too pricey for my own needs, although travelers and business people may make good use from it. Using the Free account is sufficient for me.

That being said, here is an excerpt on the main differences of these 2 accounts: "The free version is 100% free and will not expire. There is no limit to the number of computers on which you can install LogMeIn Free. However, with LogMeIn Free, you can only utilize the Remote Control feature." In essence, this will allow one to: open files, check your email, run programs, and run system diagnostics. You will, however, receive a trial of LogMeIn Pro2 when signing up for a new account. Ignition is a one-time purchase that runs on both your iPad and iPhone. Some of the dual account Free & Pro features of this iPhone and iPad Productivity app are as follows:

That being said, you will have to consider which type of account would best suit your needs. Using it on iPad is obviously a great experience having the larger screen with which to work. The app works well with its remote access, is well organized, powerful and quite easy to use. It is also great while traveling on vacation or business.

There are lots of apps for adding captions or speech bubbles to your photos for personalizing and dating them. However, I just came across what I consider a rather unique such app in its versatility.

A+ Signature Lite lets you add your signature personalized by pen size and width, color, shadow and edge colors, surrounding box and more. If you don't feel too artistic, simply use the plain text tool with the keyboard and type out your signature. You can also add a stock signature or caption with clipart from categories such as Arrows, Flowers, Hands, Happy Birthday, Utilities, Weather, Stars etc. Once you have completed your photo project and signed your photo, you may e-mail it or send to Facebook from within the app. Here are a few of the useful features of this photo caption iPhone app:

- Add a signature, a simple watermark or create a fun photocard.
- Annotate pictures of friends reunions, family parties, weddings, classmates or meetings.
- Add any autograph to your photos.

Monsters On Your Screen puts a little bit of intrigue on to your favorite wallpaper. This app comes with several backgrounds in addition to a collection of glowing monsters. You can either use one of the backgrounds provided, or else choose your own and add a monster to it as the finishing touch on your lock screen. ★Some of the features of this colorful glowing wallpaper iPhone app are as follows:

Monsters On Your Screen is very simple to use. When you open it, you will see 5 buttons on the bottom of your display labeled: Base, Monster, Color, Glow and Save. Start off by selecting a background. You may either swipe through the choices given, or select one of your favorite pics by tapping the Import Photo icon on top right of the screen. Tap the Monster button and scroll to select a gruesome or adorable creature that will complement your background. Next, tap the Color button to choose your favorite glowing shade to outline the monster, and scroll for a variety of stunning neon shades. Continue on to the Glow button where you will adjust the strength of the monster's lighting effects, and then finally tap Save so your creation will be added to your photo album. Instructions are now given on how to access your new creation.

Basically, you will just view your photo album to choose your new pic, tap Use as Wallpaper, Set, then Set as Lock Screen. That's all you have to do to accomplish a ghoulish, glowing monster as the guardian of your iPhone's secrets. My thoughts are that Monsters On Your Screen may be a great seasonal app with Halloween fast approaching. However, I know many kids may also like displaying monsters on their iPod Touch devices too! The glow adds a bit of a fire-breathing dragon effect to the whole background design itself. Enjoy swapping monsters on your lock screen depending on your mood, choosing from friendly to fierce glowing creatures!
