Lingo of the Day: fuzzy objects - Fuzzy logic combined with object-oriented programming. Conventional software objects have their own functional methodology incorporated within them, but it is usually based on "fixed" logic. So, although objects can be adjusted as the functionality requirements are revised, they are usually not flexible enough to accommodate a range of calculations. By incorporating fuzzy logic, "fuzzy objects" are much more flexible and can accommodate both approximations and extensions.
