Tales of Pirates is an exciting adventure for little ones as they discover all sorts of items at the beach, and play the related learning games. These games are actually mini exercises in memory, logic, math and improving fine motor skills. The benefit here is that kids love to learn from themes, objects and concepts which they can easily understand, and are also familiar to them. The beach, the ocean and little sea creatures all come together with learning in this wonderful experience. Throw in a dashing and clever pirate or two, and your child will be happily mesmerized with learning activities for quite a while!
The life of a pirate is full of adventure, and the imagination and interest of children everywhere are captured completely in this app developed by Little Beetle, a top creator of child development apps. Colorful and exciting tasks await little hands as children undertake varying projects from 3 busy islands. Activities are especially geared to improve memory, focus and agility as children complete them. Tasks become slightly more difficult as children grasp the concept and move on to each new level. Prior to each game, a tutorial of illustrations and descriptions will appear which explain what tasks will be required in the segment. Parents may help explain to kids just what is expected of them, and the objective of the game. Here's just a brief sampling of the features included in this iPhone and iPad early education game for kids:
- 13 unique mini-games which train memory, logic, imagination and fine motor skills
- 3 large islands, full of many different "land" games
- many "sea" games while sailing a pirate ship towards new lands
- Adorable sounds, animation effects and brilliant graphics
- Logic, spatial, concentration, differentiation and memory training
Let's take a look at some of the mind-stimulating mini games found in Tales of Pirates.
In the Sweety Beach game, kids must retrieve items from the sand. This activity is designed to develop their fine hand motor skills. (Fine motor skills involve the small muscles which produce writing, grasping small objects, and fastening clothing).
During the Snaky Road game, children will move an item along the path making sure it does not go outside the border. This is another fine motor skills game which is additionally relaxing and soothing for children with the soft, natural sounds of nature.
The Unscary Forest is one of my favorite games. It is a useful math activity as kids learn how to balance the weight of bananas on a scale.
The Octopus game is a delightful one in which kids feed a fussy octopus. Think hard about what animals can eat! If it is not an edible item the octopus cannot eat it, and points will be lost! This game teaches common sense and logic.
No matter the age, encouragement and cheering on participants is always needed when educating children. Here is where we teach the old adage, "If at first you don't succeed, then try and try again!" To this end, kids are congratulated on completing tasks successfully, and gently offered another chance if they do not. The very colorful, high-quality graphics and thoughtful animations make Tales of Pirates highly appealing to young children. The educational and fine motor skill benefits make it a "must!" for discerning parents and teachers!
COOL CONCLUSION: Tales of Pirates is the perfect way to blend early education skills of all types in an engaging, exciting and fun learning adventure for little ones who are eager to play and discover their own untapped abilities and intelligence.
