Although I often have my phone on silent/vibrate, I still enjoy hearing a good ringtone when I do turn the volume back on, usually on the weekends. In fact, I have a pretty nice selection of tones of all varieties ranging from awesome song clips to animal variations to everyday noises. Now, I have a new set of tones to add to my set using Ringtone Director Presidential Edition: Obama & Bush TTS Voices for Talking CallerID Ringtones.

So what's this ringtone app about? Well, basically you type in the message of your choice for an incoming call or text, select an introduction sound, and then pick the "voices" of either President Obama or Bush to speak the words you have written.

So open your app, 1) tap the Director's Chair, which is where you will type in your ID if you'd like, and note the address of where to collect your created ringtones. 2) Tap the typewriter and begin to type the message you want to hear as your incoming ringtone. 3) Tap the Director's Stand and swipe to the right to choose from a large variety of introductory sound effects such as the presidential herald, the anthem, banjo, bell, clock chime, horn, violin and many more cool sounds.

Finally, 4) Tap the President you'd like to choose as your voice and hit Action. This will then prepare the ringtone you have just assembled and save it on the serer at where you can then download the tone and sync it to your device. Hit the "I" (information) button at any time to find these simple instructions. Ringtones are created in .m4r format for your iPhone and iPad, or in .mp3 format for other devices if you want to share tones you have made.

A word of instruction here. Initially you are given 10 stars (shown on the top left of your screen). Each star allows you to make one ringtone. So each time you hit Action, you have essentially created a ringtone. Once you've created 10 tones by hitting Action 10 times, you will need to make an in-app purchase to get more stars and create additional tones.

The text-to-speech voices are powered via iSpeech. And remember, you don't just have to use your tones for ringtones, you could also use them for text or iMessages, alarms and reminders. Shake up the fun of your tones using the "President" to announce your next call, text or reminder! Ringtone Director Presidential Edition will provide you and your friends with a good laugh, and a bit of surprise every time a call comes in!
