Here's a simple way to stay on the good side of your friends, send them greetings and find out some pretty unique facts about the year and date they were born! YMMD - Birthday Calendar + Reminder is a fine way to keep track of the birthdays of family and friends, and even send them greetings too! Check out some of the useful features of this iPhone birthday calendar app:
• No ad forever!
• Import from Facebook, Address Book or add manually.
• Create an account to back up your friends' birthdays. Your friends birthday will be available across all of your devices without you having to import again.
• Ability to send via email, SMS, Twitter or Facebook.
• Send greeting immediately or schedule greeting for later.
• Select greeting from our supplied list of greetings.
• Create customized greetings.
• Choose a theme color to personalize your YMMD app.
• Use Statistics feature to gain insights into your friends' birthdays. Which zodiac sign is most popular among your friends? Which month were most of your friends born in?
So here we go with learning about the app. Sign up, then start setting up your profile with pic. Once done, then select which services you will connect to the app. Choose from Facebook or your Address Book. You can always edit these settings later. Okay, so now you can really get into the heart of the app by tapping the Menu buton. From here you can select from several buttons such as Calendar, List, Statistics, Greetings, and access your Settings.
The List function shows the contacts that have been imported into the app. Statistics give you unique information such as traditional Zodiac info, Chinese Zodiac, and Months of your contacts. Further down, you'll see more interesting statistics such as which of your friends have birthdays in common (Just Like Twins) and more! You'll also note another tab labeled Without Birthdays which, of course, designates those of your contacts without birthdays listed. I'd make a quick mental note to get those rather quickly to avoid any future hurt feelings!
As might be expected, my favorite category is Greetings. Here you can select from a pre-made greeting to send to a friend (text only), or else create your own. The design of the app is simple and easy on the eyes, exactly along the same lines as Apple's new iOS design. There you have it in a nutshell.
