Like most of us, our previous cell phones had always been of the plain-Jane, non-touch-screen, non-smartphone variety, and pretty much only made phone calls. We badly wanted iPhones when they were first introduced, but the price was initially an obstacle. Thankfully, we were able to get over it! We had always been PC ITs in our jobs, and so were gadget techies to begin with. Needless to say, the phone was one of those "must have" items. Before long we had joined the iPhone cult and become aficionados.
Once the beautiful devices were in our hot little hands, we were mesmerized by the uncountable things we could do. And the apps. Oh, the apps! The whole package was a never-ending source of amusement and utility. Countless hours were spent reveling in our iPhones and swapping stories of the awesome apps we were discovering on an hourly basis. And then iPad came along. Need we say more!
Soon we had acquired so much knowledge of the great apps that were available, we needed an outlet. "Why don't we share our apps and tips with other app lovers?" we asked ourselves. That was when Cool iPhone Apps was born. Since then, the blog has evolved and increased steadily in readership. Initial posts which contained minimal information started to burgeon in size. We diligently started promoting apps in February of 2009. At last check, visitors had doubled from July 2009 to July 2010! Apple addiction has reached a new high, and we are loving every minute.
